What's in it

Eight travel verticals

Flights, hotels, cars, cruises, packages, trains, travel insurance and visa requirements — all in one app.

One-tap travel desk

WhatsApp or call a real person straight from any screen. No ticket queue, no chatbot loop.

Works on a weak signal

Search history and your wishlist are stored on the device, so the app opens and stays usable when the connection drops.

Nothing sensitive leaves the phone

Saved traveller records, including passport details, are kept in local encrypted-at-rest storage and are excluded from cloud backup.

Updates itself

Checks for new versions in the background, verifies the download against a published checksum, and installs in place.

No payments, no ads, no tracking IDs

The app takes no card details, serves no advertising and does not collect your advertising ID.

Installing it

Three taps, and one permission that Android asks for the first time you install anything from outside the Play Store. Takes about a minute.

  1. Download the file

Tap Download APK above. Chrome will ask you to confirm — choose Download anyway. This is Chrome's standard prompt for any file type it cannot open itself; it is not a warning about this file.

  2. Open it, and allow this one install

Open the download from your notification shade or the Files app. Android will say Chrome is not allowed to install apps and offer a Settings button. Tap it, turn on Allow from this source, and press back. You are granting that to Chrome for this install — not to us. You can switch it back off straight afterwards.

  3. Install, and dismiss the Play Protect notice

Tap Install. If Play Protect says the app is unrecognised, tap More details Install anyway. Play Protect flags everything not distributed through the Play Store; it has not found anything wrong with the app.

  4. Open the app

You will find Ticketing-Info in your app drawer. No account, no sign-up — start searching immediately. From here on the app handles its own updates.

Only ever install this app from this page. We never send the APK by email, WhatsApp or SMS, and we do not publish it on any mirror, forum or third-party APK site. A copy from anywhere else is not ours, whatever the filename says.

Verify what you downloaded

Optional, but this is how you can be certain the file on your device is the one we built. The digest below is generated from the exact bytes this server sends and is re-checked automatically every time the site is deployed.

Every Ticketing-Info release is signed with this key, and Android will refuse to install an update signed with any other. It is the same fingerprint published at /.well-known/assetlinks.json.

If the digests match, you are done. If they differ, delete the file and download it again on a different network — do not install it. Android performs its own check on top of this one: an APK not signed with our production certificate cannot install over an existing Ticketing-Info app at all.

Questions

Why is the app not on the Google Play Store?
We distribute it ourselves so we can ship fixes the same day rather than waiting on a review queue. The trade-off is that your phone needs one extra permission the first time, and that you should only ever install this file from www.ticketing-info.org. The app updates itself from then on.
Is it safe to install an APK from outside the Play Store?
It is exactly as safe as the source you got it from, which is why we publish the SHA-256 checksum below — you can confirm the file you downloaded is byte-for-byte the one we published. Android adds two more guarantees on its own: it will not install an app whose signature does not match ours, and every later update must be signed with the same key or it is rejected outright. Never install a Ticketing-Info APK sent to you by email, WhatsApp or a third-party mirror.
What does "Install unknown apps" actually let the app do?
Nothing, on its own. The permission is granted to the app doing the installing — your browser — not to us. It lets Chrome hand this one file to Android's package installer. It does not give the browser or our app any access to your data, and you can revoke it immediately afterwards under Settings → Apps → Special access.
Play Protect showed a warning. Should I be worried?
No. Play Protect flags any app it has not seen distributed through the Play Store, regardless of what the app does — it is a distribution warning, not a malware finding. Tap More details, then Install anyway. If you would rather verify first, check the checksum below before installing.
How do I get updates without the Play Store?
The app checks for updates on its own and tells you when a new version is available — you tap once and it downloads, verifies its own checksum and installs. You never need to come back to this page. Security releases can be marked required, in which case the app asks you to update before continuing.
Do I need to uninstall the old version first?
No. Every release is signed with the same production key, so Android installs it as an in-place upgrade and your saved travellers, wishlist and preferences are preserved. If you are ever prompted to uninstall first, the file did not come from us — stop and contact support.
Which phones is it compatible with?
Any phone or tablet running Android 8.0 Oreo (API 26) or newer, which covers the large majority of devices in use. The app is built for arm64, arm32, x86 and x86-64, so it also runs on Chromebooks and emulators. There is no iOS build yet.
Does the app cost anything, or need an account?
It is free, and there is no sign-up. You can search every vertical and request a quote as a guest. We only ask for contact details at the point you want us to come back to you with a price.
Does the app take payments?
No. No card details are ever entered in the app. You send us a request, we come back with a quote, and payment is arranged directly with our travel desk.
The download stops partway through. What now?
Our server supports resuming, so pulling down the notification shade and tapping Resume in Chrome's download usually picks up where it stopped rather than starting over. If it keeps failing, switch from mobile data to Wi-Fi and try again — and check you have at least 12.41 MB of free space, since Android needs room for both the download and the installed app.

Stuck? Talk to a person.

If the app will not install, will not open, or something looks wrong, tell us the phone model and Android version and we will work it out with you.
