Spend 2 days discovering Naples & Amalfi Coast, Italy — Mediterranean climate with hot summers (highs around 30°C in July-August) and mild, wetter winters (highs around 12-13°C in January); coastal towns feel cooler thanks to sea breezes. April to June and September to October for warm weather without peak-summer heat and traffic on the Amalfi Coast's narrow roads. This itinerary blends Pompeii Archaeological Park, Herculaneum Archaeological Site, Spaccanapoli with free time to explore at your own pace, backed by round-trip flights, handpicked accommodation, and a dedicated travel consultant from enquiry through departure.
DAY 1
Land at Naples International Airport (NAP) and take your included private transfer to your hotel. With limited time on the ground, head straight out to Pompeii Archaeological Park — Ancient Roman city preserved by Vesuvius' eruption. Round off the evening with a welcome dinner introducing you to local flavors.
DAY 2
Start early with a visit to Herculaneum Archaeological Site — Smaller, remarkably preserved Roman town. Grab a last taste of local life before your private transfer to NAP for your onward flight.
Schengen area — visa-free entry for US, UK, Canadian, Australian and EU passport holders for stays up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Other nationalities, including Indian passport holders, need a Schengen visa arranged in advance.

We added a couple of optional activities beyond Path of the Gods guided hike and don't regret it. Good value for what was included, and the food recommendations from our guide were spot on.

Naples & Amalfi Coast is stunning and this package covered the essentials well, especially Capodimonte Museum. The hotel could have been a little closer to the center but transport was easy.

Booked this as a family of 4 trip and it was well paced. Naples Underground (Napoli Sotterranea) in particular stood out. A couple of the transfers ran a little late but nothing that spoiled the trip.

San Gregorio Armeno alone was worth the trip, but combined with Certosa e Museo di San Martino this itinerary really delivered. Breakfast at the hotel was good every day and the local guide was knowledgeable.
