Spend 10 days discovering Pokhara, Nepal — Subtropical climate at a lower elevation (~820m) than Kathmandu, so noticeably warmer and more humid: hot, wet summers (highs 29-30°C with heavy monsoon rain June-September, as Pokhara is one of Nepal's wettest cities), and mild, drier winters (highs 20-22°C). October-November and March-April for the clearest views of the Annapurna range and mild highs of 24-28°C; the June-August monsoon frequently obscures mountain views with cloud. This itinerary blends Sarangkot sunrise viewpoint, World Peace Pagoda (Shanti Stupa), Lakeside (Phewa Lake promenade) with free time to explore at your own pace, backed by round-trip flights, handpicked accommodation, and a dedicated travel consultant from enquiry through departure.
DAY 1
Land at Pokhara International Airport (PKR) and take your included private transfer to your hotel. After settling in, ease into the trip with a relaxed visit to Sarangkot sunrise viewpoint — Hilltop viewpoint over the Annapurna and Machapuchare ranges. Round off the evening with a welcome dinner introducing you to local flavors.
DAY 2
Morning visit to World Peace Pagoda (Shanti Stupa) — Hilltop Buddhist stupa reached by boat and hike or road. In the afternoon, continue to Davis Falls (Patale Chhango) — Dramatic waterfall that disappears into an underground tunnel. Evening free to explore local restaurants and nightlife.
DAY 3
Morning visit to Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave — Limestone cave with a Shiva shrine, connected to Davis Falls. In the afternoon, continue to International Mountain Museum — Exhibits on Himalayan mountaineering history and culture. Evening free to explore local restaurants and nightlife.
DAY 4
Full-day excursion to Sarangkot, a popular side trip from Pokhara. Return to Pokhara in the evening with time free to explore on your own.
DAY 5
A lighter day to recharge, shop, or add an optional experience. Popular choices include Begnas Lake, quieter than Phewa — your consultant can book add-ons like this on request.
DAY 6
Morning visit to Phewa Lake boating — Rowing or paddle boat across Pokhara's central lake. In the afternoon, continue to Paragliding from Sarangkot — Tandem paragliding over Phewa Lake with Annapurna views. Evening free to explore local restaurants and nightlife.

DAY 9
A lighter day to recharge, shop, or add an optional experience. Popular choices include Kahun Danda viewpoint — your consultant can book add-ons like this on request.
DAY 10
Enjoy a final morning at leisure — perhaps one last visit to Old Pokhara Bazaar or some souvenir shopping — before your private transfer to PKR for your departure flight.
Most foreign nationals can get a Nepal visa on arrival (paid in cash or card) at major entry points; Indian citizens need no visa at all to enter Nepal, only a valid photo ID, thanks to the open-border treaty between the two countries.

Pokhara is stunning and this package covered the essentials well, especially Davis Falls (Patale Chhango). The hotel could have been a little closer to the center but transport was easy.

Old Pokhara Bazaar alone was worth the trip, but combined with Davis Falls (Patale Chhango) this itinerary really delivered. Breakfast at the hotel was good every day and the local guide was knowledgeable.

We added a couple of optional activities beyond Old Pokhara Bazaar and don't regret it. Good value for what was included, and the food recommendations from our guide were spot on.
