Udaipur 10-Day Romantic Getaway
Overview
Spend 10 days discovering Udaipur, India — Milder than the Rajasthan desert cities thanks to its lake-and-hills setting: hot but not extreme summers (highs 36-38°C in May), a good monsoon July-September that fills the lakes, and pleasant winters (highs 25-27°C, cool nights around 8-10°C). September to March, when lake levels are good and highs sit around 24-32°C; avoid May-June heat, though the lakes can look dramatic post-monsoon in September. This itinerary blends City Palace, Udaipur, Jag Mandir, Ghats of Lake Pichola with free time to explore at your own pace, backed by round-trip flights, handpicked accommodation, and a dedicated travel consultant from enquiry through departure.

Vintage Car Museum alone was worth the trip, but combined with Clock Tower (Ghanta Ghar) this itinerary really delivered. Breakfast at the hotel was good every day and the local guide was knowledgeable.

We added a couple of optional activities beyond Ghats of Lake Pichola and don't regret it. Good value for what was included, and the food recommendations from our guide were spot on.

Booked this as a solo trip and it was well paced. City Palace, Udaipur in particular stood out. A couple of the transfers ran a little late but nothing that spoiled the trip.
