Which fare you bought matters
Basic Economy — No advance seat selection, no changes or refunds beyond the 24-hour window, and boards last. Main Cabin — Fare difference still applies when you change; the ticket itself stays non-refundable. Delta Comfort+ — Not a separate cabin — service is Main Cabin with a better seat. Delta One — Available only on widebody and select transcontinental aircraft.
