ANA frequently asked questions
Should I fly into Haneda or Narita?
Haneda, where possible. It is roughly 30–45 minutes from central Tokyo versus 60–90 minutes from Narita, and the train and bus connections are better. ANA operates most of its US routes to Haneda.
What is the cheapest way to book ANA business class with miles?
Often Virgin Atlantic Flying Club rather than ANA's own programme — Virgin's partner award pricing on ANA First and Business is frequently the lowest available to US travellers. Compare both before transferring points.
Can I bring my dog to Japan on ANA?
Not in the cabin — ANA permits only assistance dogs in the cabin on international routes. Pets travel in the hold, and Japan's import rules require advance notification and can impose up to 180 days of quarantine if paperwork is incomplete. Start at least seven months ahead.
